/ Hi, I'm Lena

I notice what happens when nobody's looking

I've been photographing couples and families across the Pacific Northwest since 2016—always outside, always in real light, always a little bit quiet so people forget I'm there.

That unguarded glance between two people, or a kid mid-giggle before anyone calls for a smile—that's the frame I'm waiting for.

Wide medium shot of a couple walking hand-in-hand through a sun-drenched meadow, late afternoon golden light raking across tall grass, photographer perspective from behind and slightly to the side, candid and unhurried, warm amber tones throughout

Natural light, real connection

You're not posing. You're just being.

I work only in natural light—golden hour, open shade, whatever warmth the location offers that day. No flash, no studio, no manufactured atmosphere.

Sessions feel more like a slow walk with someone who happens to have a camera. I'll suggest a direction; you bring whatever your relationship actually looks like.

If this sounds like the right fit, let's talk

Tell me a little about your people and when you're thinking. I'll get back to you within one business day.
